Lukas Rathjen studied history, archaeology and interdisciplinary anthropology in Hamburg and Freiburg. He completed his Master's degree in "History and Philosophy of Knowledge" at ETH Zurich in 2020 with a thesis on the Darmstadt Talks. Since March 2021, he has been a doctoral student at the Chair of Literature and Cultural Studies at ETH Zurich. His doctoral project on intellectual communication culture in post-war West Germany, supervised by Prof. Dr. Andreas Kilcher and Prof. Dr. Philipp Felsch (HU Berlin), is funded by the SNSF with a doc.ch scholarship.
